Dr. Phillip Okerberg

Dr. Phillip Okerberg

Dr. Phillip Okerberg attended Auburn University and then graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After a year of clinical training at Purdue University, Dr. Okerberg moved to Colorado in 2018. Dr. Okerberg has a special interest in internal medicine and clinical pathology. In his free time, Dr. Okerberg enjoys fly fishing and skiing. Most of all he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, their five dogs, and their cat.

Dr. Cynthia Fede

Dr. Cynthia Fede

Dr. Cynthia Fede has been a veterinarian for over 20 years. She strongly believes in the special bond pet parents share with their pets. Dr. Fede believes in client communication and does her best to work together with pet parents to make the best decisions for the pet and his or her family. She practices general small medicine and surgery and has special interest and experience with pet behavior. Dr. Fede sees a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and pocket pets. Dr. Fede is originally from New Jersey. She currently lives in the Black Forest with her husband, 4 great children, and a variety of pets - dogs, cats, reptiles (snakes, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and tortoises) and tropical fish.

Dr. Amy Kranz

Dr. Amy Kranz

As a born and raised native of Michigan, Dr. Amy Kranz attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate studies obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Biology. Dr. Kranz then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University in 2004 and has been practicing ever since! After starting her career in Ohio, she then relocated to Colorado in 2009 and calls Palmer Lake her home. She has many professional interests as a veterinarian, but has special interest in behavior and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Kranz says she loves the nature of veterinary medicine and the critical thinking aspect to help pets and owners in need of help. She places a high emphasis on client education and wants to help every owner understand how to keep their furry family members as healthy as possible. Wanting to make every pet feel as comfortable as possible during their visit, it is not uncommon to find her on the floor at their level while doing her exams and treatments. She has many goals, but would really like to own her own practice someday. When she isn’t taking care of pets at the clinic, she is enjoying the Colorado lifestyle doing outdoor activities with her husband and dog Rhaegar.

Dr. Stephanie Davenport

Dr. Stephanie Davenport, DVM

Dr. Stephanie Davenport was born and raised in northeastern Tennessee but attended Hendrix College in Arkansas for her undergraduate studies. She received her Bachelor's Degree with a major in Chemistry and minor in Mathematics. Dr. Davenport received her DVM degree from the University of Tennessee's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. After graduation she worked as a mixed animal practitioner for two years before transitioning back to small animal medicine in 2019 when she moved to Colorado. She has a special interest in surgery and neurology. While typically Dr. Davenport sees dogs and cats, she also sees a variety of exotic pets such as ferrets, rabbits, chickens, and guinea pigs. When she is not in the office, she can be found on the farm, caring for her 5 horses, 2 cows, and donkey. Additionally, she has 7 cats and 3 dogs. She also enjoys doing most any outdoor activity, but also loves traveling and escape rooms.

Dr. Shayna Warner, DVM

Meet Dr. Shayna Warner! Dr. Warner received her DVM degree from Colorado State University. After graduation she completed an equine medical and surgical internship before moving back to Colorado where she worked in small animal emergency medicine for 8 years. Currently, Dr. Warner is a candidate to earn her M.S. degree in Epidemiology and Clinical Services through CSU. Dr. Warner also provides equine and cattle veterinary services when not at Animal Hospital of Falcon. She says she feels blessed to have joined our team here at Animal Hospital of Falcon! In her free time, Dr. Warner enjoys anything horse related, exercise, and spending time with her husband and multitude of animals.

Carolyn O'Leary

Carolyn O'Leary, Practice Manager

Carolyn is originally from Massachusetts. She moved to Colorado in 2004 and absolutely loves it here. She's been working in the veterinary field for the last 17 years in various roles along the way. She joined the team at Animal Hospital of Falcon in Autumn 2020. Carolyn enjoys being a part of such an amazing team and loves getting to know the clients and patients here. She enjoys spending time with the love of her life, and their two amazing children. Carolyn's family also includes three cats, Charlie (AKA Chalupa), Elliott and Neve.


Jasmine, Certified Veterinary Technician/Lead CVT

Jasmine graduated with an Associate's Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Colorado Academy of Veterinary Technology in March 2018. She had been working as a Veterinary Assistant in an emergency veterinary hospital prior to, and following her graduation. Today, she works as the Lead Certified Veterinary Technician here at Animal Hospital of Falcon. Her experience focalizes in companion animals. However, she has worked with some pocket pets and large animals. In her spare time, Jasmine spends time with her two children, her dog and plays guitar.


Amanda, Certified Veterinary Technician

Amanda graduated from Tri-County Technical College in 2003 with an A.S. in Health Science with a major in Veterinary Technology. She first became licensed in South Carolina. After receiving her license, she married into the military where she lived in Alaska, New York, Germany and finally landing here in Colorado. Throughout these moves she was licensed in Alaska, New York and here in Colorado. From 2008 and 2016 she took a break to be a homemaker and raise three daughters while her husband was protecting our country. In 2016, her husband was medically retired from the Air Force. This drove Amanda back to the profession she loves. Throughout her eight years of veterinary technician experience, she has worked in clinics ranging from a single doctor practice, to an eight-doctor practice, with time at an emergency clinic. In addition, she has earned certifications in animal pain management and cold laser therapy. Her household is completed by three dogs, two cats, two bearded dragons, a rabbit, and multiple fish tanks. Her favorite pets are cats of any kind and Boston Terriers. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, playing softball, and gardening.

Steph, Veterinary Technician

Steph was born and raised in San Diego, CA and served in the U.S. Navy for nearly 6 years. Upon separation from the military, she moved to Colorado and fell in love with the mountains. Steph received a B.S. in biology at UCCS specifically to apply and attend veterinary school of medicine. She's had a deep passion for animals since she was 6 years old and is looking forward to a long career caring for our furry friends. Steph and her husband have 2 Great Danes, Niobe and Phoebe, whom they adore very dearly. They enjoy hiking, camping, and four-wheel driving with them during the warmer months. Steph loves her job – She says she is filled with joy knowing that she is in a business that loves and cares for our clients’ pets!


Bri/Red, Veterinary Technician

Bri, also known as Red, grew up in North Carolina and Alabama before moving to Indiana to be closer to family. In July 2020, she decided to take a risk and move to Colorado Springs. She is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program. Bri has worked in the veterinary field for almost three years and is excited to continue growing and learning. Bri is super passionate about preventative care and client education. She has two fur babies of her own: a four-year-old boxer mix, Jessie, and a one-year-old cat, Freddy Todd Mercury. When not at work, Bri enjoys fitness, coffee, history, and learning new things.


Dusty, Lead Client Service Representative

I grew up on a farm south of Omaha, Nebraska. I have had a love and passion for the care of animals from an early age. For twenty-five years I traveled to regional Paint/Pinto horse shows and showing top All-Around horses from South Dakota to Texas. I have been in the veterinary field off and on since 2009 getting experience as a Veterinary Assistant and CSR. I recently moved to Colorado in 2017 and enjoy working on my home as a weekend warrior. I love the outdoors and spending time with my three horses Jet, Jasper and Sissy. I have a rescue dog named Honey and a cat named Dottie.


Jennifer, Veterinary Assistant

Jennifer worked in Information Technology for over a decade until she had the chance to follow her heart and retrain as a Veterinary Assistant in 2018. She received her Veterinary Assistant certificate in Logan, UT, and has been working in the field for almost 2 years. Jennifer has been a Zookeeper, a Kennel Attendant, and a Vet Assistant, and is planning to go back to school to become a Vet Tech. She loves working with her friends at the Animal Hospital, and especially caring for the pets that come through our doors. Jennifer is married and has a son, Cameron, and daughter, Ricci. They have an 11-year-old lab mix, Idgy, and a 7-month-old puggle, Halford. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her husband and dogs, as well as mountain biking.

Michelle M., Client Service Representative

Michelle M. was born in Germany and moved around quite a bit since her Dad was in the Army. They settled back in Colorado in 2005 and she absolutely loves it here. Michelle did go to school to become a veterinary assistant but found that the client service representative role was better suited for her. She met her husband here in Colorado and they have an awesome son together. Michelle has been with Animal Hospital of Falcon since 2015. Michelle says she loves this clinic and getting to know all of our clients and patients. In her spare time, she enjoys going camping in their new RV. She enjoys spending quality time with her family. They have 2 cats, named Riley and Milo, both were rescues. Some day, they will get a dog. In the meantime, she gets her fill every day at work!
